My (Potentially Dangerous) Obsessions

WARNING: Reading this in its full and uncensored form could result in permanent eye damage and psychological disorders. So WHAT are you WAITING for? *>>/\MUSIC/\<<*

Ever hear someone say, "Music is life"? And go banging on about how they would die without music? And how they could just not bear it if anything happned to their precious CD? And are you wondering if I am that type of person?

Nope.

I just like music a lot. I'm not saying you are a loser if you do happen to do any of the above (if I meant that, I'd be out of friends) but I just had to deny that I am a TOTAL music fanatic. I just love it a whole, whole, whole lot. But I have very random and oddly unspecific tastes. I could go on for hours explaining the complexities of my love for music, but I'll just cut to the chase. I never bothered forming my own opinions about music: I listened to what my friends listen. Now...well, I have no idea who they're listening to. And I have just the barest clue of who I listen to but I'm still trying to explore my tastes a bit. For right now I can only tell you what my favorite CD's and artists are. I like whatever floats my boat, so do not be surprised at the randomness of my selections.

1. Celine Dion and Dido are the only, and I mean only, singers that I can honestly say I love. I like all of their songs and have special favorites. My favorite song by Dido is Isobel. My favorite song by Celine is Rain, Tax. I adore them both :D

2. I happen to like listening to music in languages that I don't speak or understand. I don't know why - it is calming and I don't have to think about them is why I guess. I'm especially partial to Japanese anime soundtracks and Jpop, but that's an offset of my anime love.

As you can understand, I like music (how many times have I said that??). But I can't afford it, so I was a KAZAA girl all the way! I am also a cheap bum - I borrow friends' CDs and burn them :D I listen to music on the computer - even without Kazaa, I still download at least 10 mp3s a week - and have nearly 100 CDs. I've usually got music going, because I like sound. And this concludes my long, long gush on music.

*>>/\MOVIES/\<<*

I prefer to watch movies at home. It's more comfortable for me :D It is one of the best things, to rent/buy a movie, sit down with popcorn and soda and icecream and cake in hand (on table) and enjoy. The only exception I make is (1) if someone asks me to go (2) if it is a must-see like LOTR or (3) I get $10. Anyways, here is a list of movies I enjoy and probably will (have) watched a gazillion times. Finding Nemo, Shrek, Monty Python and the Holy Grail, Pirates of the Caribbean, Lord of the Rings and Harry Potter.

*>>/\READING/\<<*

Can I even EXPLAIN this? I'm a literary whore. I'm a personal fan of fantasy and science fiction but I if I gave you a list of all my favorite types of books, well - it fill up many libraries. Actually, they literally DO. lmao. I *need* to read something everyday. Otherwise I don't feel good; restless. I have a bunch of favorite books, but I'm particularly obsessed by the Harry Potter series, the Series of Unfortunate Events, Artemis Fowl, LOTR & the Hobbit, the Royal Diary series and certain other random books. I like many of the books my John Grisham and Stephen King.

*>>/\TELEVISION/\<<*

Nope, gotta go all the way with the whole electronic thing. Anyways, I'm quite a fan of television to be honest. I get headaches if I watch too long but some things are worth the pain. I hate commercials. I have many favorite television shows. There's my whole cartoon/anime obsession. To name just a few anime: Inuyasha, Rurouni Kenshin, Digi Charat, Chobits, Yu Yu Hakusho, Tenchi Muyo, Dragonball & it's heirs (I skipped all the fighting parts though!) and Digimon (lol, I know, but it was SO cute). I liked a bunch of other cartoons too: Jackie Chan Adventures, Spongebob, the Weekenders, the Fairly Oddparents, Hey Arnold!, Rugrats, As Told by Ginger, Teen Titans, and the Animaniacs. Back when (I was young but I could still appreciate talent) I loved Clarissa Explains All, Rocko's Modern Life, Ren & Stimpy and various other GREAT shows that disappeared. Moving on...I found 7th Heaven touching (if a bit repetitive), I like Even Steven, Lizzie McGuire (the show, not anything else!) and many Disney movies made for the Disney Channel. I like HGTV, Sci-Fi, Tech TV and ABC Family too.

*>>/\FOOD/\<<*

Notice I'm getting the obvious out of the way? I love food. I love to eat. I am FAT. (No, I'm kidding, I'm not really). I'm actually picky - specific things I just won't eat - but I'm up for anything. I won't eat most "fruity" things, unless it is actually fruit. I love fruit. I will only eat chocolatelee stuff (M&Ms, KitKats, etc.), cakey things (cookies, KRISPY KREME donuts, cheesecake, any cake that isn't fruity) and Airheads when it comes to candy. I love meat, though I'm totally supportive of vegetarians and all that. I like most all vegetables, except squash. Did I mention I love bread? Except white bread. Gosh...set me in a buffet line and I'll basically rape the food. I'm the best taste-tester in this whole God-forsaken world!! AHAHAHA!! *quiets self down*

*>>/\HOT ACTORS/\<<*

Namely, ACTORS. Bruce Almighty, let me tell you, I may have missed the hormone train close to home, but get me to Hollywood and I'll show you what I'm made of! Big stars? I think Orlando Bloom is a hottie, even if his name sounds rather...weird. But hey, Orlando come with me to Orlando!! I know he is ten years older than me, but what the heck? He makes a totally hot pirate and an even sexier elf! I have gone so far as to have him on my wall. *squeals* Next: Elijah Wood (I met most of my future husbands in LOTR). Makes one HOT hobbit. I saw him in Huckleberry Finn and he was SO cute. I wish he were that age NOW, so I could date him. Shoot. Then there was: Viggo Mortensen. MMM...ok, he's 45. But I swear, he must have some of that Ranger blood in him because he looks so YOUNG. In a ragged sort of way. But I saw him before LOTR, I think it was in some GI Jane sort of thing. He's hot as Aragorn. Next: Sean Biggerstaff. You know, from HP - Oliver Wood - ohmigod. I paused as soon I saw his face on the screen. OK...so he is sort of unknown. I need to get all of these guys birthdays up. Anyways, Sean is my SCOTSMAN. *meow* Next (never ending): I thought Tom Felton [Draco Malfoy] was ultimately hot especially with his plastic hair look in the movies. But he's so...smug but I know he's got a real great personality by looking at him. He is so good at being evil. Next: Rupert Grint. Hello? RON WEASLEY! He's MY weasel and he's a RED-HEAD. I love red-heads, natural ones anyway. He is very cute and a good actor. All of the people I put here are great actors. I thought Dan Radcliffe was sort of cute (in the movies) but he was such a bad actor I don't like him. Johnny Depp is pretty hot too. So which of these guys will be my future husband?

*>>/\STUFF I'M SURE TO BE OBSESSED WITH, ONCE I'M OF AGE/\<<*

OK, I know I'm going to get drunk as soon as I can. I just hope I'm not allergic, like most of my paternal family is....argh!! I'm going to love wine and daquiris and tequilas and all that. Mmm....

Driving. I want a cute, fast convertable. And send it from 0-60. VROOM!

*>>/\SHOPPING/\<<*

Are you KIDDING me? I'm like the splurge machine. Give me twenty bucks, five minutes. Give me fifty, give me ten. Give me a hundred, give me twenty. Give me a million, give me five seconds. I like shopping for CD's (I listen to a load of crap), clothes (takes me HOURS & then fittings because of my abnormally short legs), BOOKS (will i get in trouble for reading them in the store?), jewelry (cheap stuff, I lose the real thing) and cute stuff to hang in my room. Other stuff, I get my parents to buy. Teehee.

*>>/\GAMES/\<<*

I'm not that big of a video game freak, but I do have some loves. DDR for one. Addicting and healthy! Harvest Moon and Kingdom Hearts were both really addicting games. I like the PS2 games best, but I've found Super Smash Bro's & Luigi's Mansion to be fun. I loved the Nintendo we had but it was stolen....*WAAAHH!* Bust-a-Move (N64), DDR (PS & PS2) --my exercise--, the Spyro series(PS & PS2), the Pokemon series(GB) and let's not forget Tetris (handheld) and Bob-It! I play console games whenever I have time. I like board games a lot too! GAME NIGHT! I like Sorry!, Chess, Shoots & Ladders, Macala, Chinese Checkers, Scrabble, Candyland and that :)

That's All...for now!
